For the HS'23 collection, archival silk tablecloths entirely hand-embroidered by the women of Pomakohoria, have been dip-dyed, sewed and reassembled into sumptuous garments, redefined and reinvented yet reflecting all the signs of age. The challenge was to use these square and rectangular tablecloths with unique handmade embroideries without altering them. This 'Roussa' upcycled shirt is an indicative piece of this challenge. It is assembled from these silk tablecloths that have been deep-dyed in the shade of coral. Designed for a relaxed fit, it features an asymmetric split hem and contrasting mao canvas collar.
